Weddings in a Country House HotelWe host all types of events ranging from Weddings, product launches, charity events, seasonal parties, school prom, birthday and anniversaries. For all events large or small we have, or can create, special menus.

Our main function room, the Churchill Suite, is a fantastic purpose built area, offering seating for up to 120 people for a formal occasion, and up to 180 for a mingling style wine and canapés event. The Churchill suite offers separate parking, patio and drinks terrace, Gazebo for exterior weddings, its own separate entrance, a large bar, air conditioning and can be decorated to suit your event. The Churchill suite is also licensed for civil marriages.

The Lakeside restaurant can be used for smaller parties and events. The terrace, overlooking the parkland and lake, provides an excellent position for pre-event drinks or after dinner liqueurs and coffees. We have a selection of events menus available for weddings, parties and conferences. If you prefer, our chefs will create and prepare a special meal to best suit your event.

We specialise in weddings and with the help of our dedicated wedding co-ordinator, we help you to plan your special day with ease guiding you along the way to organise your perfect day.

Photo opportunities are endless within our grounds and we can even host firework displays for an evening with a special touch.

Function Suites

The elegant Churchill Suite, licensed for civil weddings

Branston Hall Hotel is the ideal venue for all types of events and weddings due to our elegant surroundings, well appointed function suites and the professional service we provide.

For your event, choose between the Churchill Suite, the York Suite, the Westminster suite, the Gazebo (for exterior events) or the Lakeside Private Dining Room. All of these rooms are licensed for civil weddings and civil partnerships.

The Churchill Suite is a stylish, private, purpose built suite, ideally suited for seating from 40 up to 120 people for a formal event, and up to 180 for a mingling style buffet event.

The York Suite, with period high ceilings and regency décor offers the ideal room for the smaller wedding celebration or banquet; this room is also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. 24 people can enjoy a seated reception in this room.

For larger events a marquee can be hired and erected in the grounds, an example of this is pictured below.

Civil Ceremonies

From the moment you enter the long sweeping driveway leading up to the hotel, you realise that Branston Hall, nestled within the picturesque parklands and with its well manicured gardens, is the perfect venue for your special day.

This magnificent country house is amongst the most ideal and romantic settings for your Civil Partnership. The 88 acres of beautiful wooded parkland and our private Lake and Gardens provide the most picturesque location for you.

The luxurious interior of the Hotel provides a fairytale setting to celebrate your wedding or partnership. This venue truly is the perfect place to celebrate your special day. A member of our Conference and Banqueting Team is at your disposal to guide and help you with all your needs and requirements and to ensure that your special day runs smoothly.

The grand entrance to the Hotel will have the red carpet out to greet you. Welcome drinks will be served in the oak panelled Melville bar with log fires in the winter months and in our elegant pink Lounge. During the summer months drinks will be served on the lawn.

We can arrange a harpist or a string quartet to create a romantic atmosphere. Should the weather fail our fabulous staircases, lounges and Honeymoon Suites provide wonderful backdrops for the all important wedding photos.

Branston Hall Hotel has 53 luxurious Hotel rooms and offers free parking to all guests.

Our considerable experience of helping brides and grooms to be to have a truly memorable special day has enabled us to develop a “one-stop shop” package which will free you from the worry of ensuring you alone have to cover every detail of the event. Our wedding planner is made available to provide you with a highly personal service from the start until we bid you good bye as you leave us to start your new life!

Here’s how it works:

We host in the region of 60 weddings per year and many couples come from far away, choosing us as their ideal venue, not only for the services we provide but due to the central UK location of Lincoln. However, these clients not being from the area, this has lead us over time to create a complete portfolio of all types of wedding services providers.

We have developed special relationships with local and regional providers of wedding services who, are aware of, and fulfil the standards we require for our wedding clients. There follows a list of potential services you may require for your celebration. These are, of course, in addition to the normal hotel services which you will be discussing with your personal wedding planner.

The Service

Please note the Hotel is licensed for you to hold your wedding service in one of our Suites or weather permitting outside in our Gazebo, we will be pleased to help you arrange this.
